Disney World Resort – Weddings
For any bride-to-be who has ever dreamed of a fairytale wedding, Disney World has what you need to make your wedding dreams come true. Since 1991, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings has been host to about 30,000 weddings, with more than 1500 weddings per year at Walt Disney. The non-denominational wedding pavilion, which can host up to 6 weddings a day, had its first wedding on live television in 1995 on Lifetime Television. It was engineered with three cameras and with Cinderella Castle framed in two views- through a window behind the indoor altar, and through a hedge arch.
But not every wedding needs to be held there- over 10 weddings can be held per day at Disney World. You can choose from any of the four main theme parks for a wedding. It can get expensive- the Escape Wedding Collections for two begins at $4500, with prices soaring up to $20,000 or more for about 50 people. The Couture Collection wedding option pairs you up with the famous wedding planner David Tutera and the Disney team to help you plan a magical, one-of-a-kind unique wedding experience that you’ll never forget. You can choose from four different designs, or make your own. You can also have Disney-themed wedding cakes that are far from tacky, and definitely delicious. There is lighting, floral arrangements, invitations, and more.
Couples from all over the world have been married at Disney World, including from such countries as Saudi Arabia, Japan, and others. Why haven’t you made your wedding plans at Disney World?
