Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Everything You Need to Know.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is only a few weeks away! What exactly can one expect to find? What makes this party so unforgettable?

Dates: November 8- December 20 from 7:00 pm to Midnight.  Don’t forget select rides are still open throughout Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for the full Disney World experience.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

  • The Castle Dream Lights on Cinderella Castle: these lights form magical icicles that can be seen throughout the Magic Kingdom.
  • Main Street USA- all of the windows, lamp posts, shops and restaurants are heartwarmingly decorated, bringing Christmas in vintage America to life. It even snows all throughout the night. (Also on this street, complimentary hot chocolate and cookies are distributed by cast members. yum!)

Shows and Entertainment:

Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade: Gingerbread men, elves and other Holiday favorites dance down Main Street, with Disney Characters like:

  • Jiminy Cricket
  • Goofy
  • Pooh
  • Tigger
  • Scrooge McDuck
  • many many more

Not to mention Santa, wishing you a “Merry Christmas!” from his sleigh! This is my personal favorite event of the entire party.

Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season: the most wonderful fireworks show of the year (guests always walk away from it a bit teary-eyed)

Totally Tomorrowland Christmas : Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski and Stitch host  aparty full of jolly rock and roll tunes and fun dance numbers. Stitch is on a quest to find Santa. When he does, will he be naughty or nice?

Celebrate the Season Show  Mickey’s present to Minnie this year is extra special! After it is given, the classic Disney characters get caught up in a special Disney version of The Nutcracker in front of Cinderella’s Castle.  This show is not to be missed.

If we purchase tickets for the Very Merry Christmas party do we have to purchase separate tickets to ride the rides?

No, many of the rides stay open during the party. There is no extra fee
