Orlando Florida Vacations - eating at the parks

On your Orlando Florida vacations, if you plan on buying food at any of the theme parks or water parks (all of us do, even those who actually live in Orlando), there are several ways to save money. Plan your nice, sit-down meal for lunch rather than dinner- prices are usually lower and the portions are the same. The menus are usually the same too.

In some areas, you can get away with buying kids’ meals for the adults, which is a good deal; the sizes are likely to be large enough for most adults, so you won’t overeat or overspend.  Another trick is to buy one full meal at the counter service areas, and then another meal without fries- say, only a burger and a drink. The fries can be shared between two people. Or get a medium drink and a small cup of ice, to make sharing a drink easier.

By the way, eating at off times will make for less crowded dining areas- it can be hard to find a seat during usual mealtimes, especially inside. And when everyone’s hot and hungry an inside seat is definitely something to be thankful for.
