Universal Studios’ New Dining Experience- Have Breakfast with your Favorite Characters

Universal’s Superstar Character Breakfast is the newest character dining Experience!

Get an early start and have breakfast with your favorite characters! It’s a real kid-pleaser and is a great way to kick off your Universal Orlando Vacation!

Location: Cafe La Bamba in Universal Studios

Have breakfast with characters From: Spongebob, Dora and Diego from Nickelodeon; Characters from the hit comedy Hop; Gru and the minions from Despicable Me. Add breakfast to your Universal Orlando Vacation Package.

Prices for the experience are as follows: Adults $26.99, Children $10.99 in addition to the price of admission.

After you’ve had your breakfast you can enjoy FREE Early Park Admission to Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, (the newest ride at universal) and Shrek 4D (an interactive movie-theater style 3D show).

Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem has an amazing line queue(the entertainment portion before a group of people gets to the ride). It really makes you feel like you have stepped into the world of animation and right into Gru’s home, complete with all the super-villain fixings. The ride is in “Soft openings” which means it may be open only during specific times on some days, so when you see that it’s open, take advantage of the opportunity! So far, it has been very well received by the public and is sure to be one of the most popular rides this summer! It fills up very quickly and it can be hard to get into on a busy day. It is definitely worth skipping the long lines by getting there earlier than everyone else.

Later on in the day, you can see all your new friends again at the new Superstar Parade! Included with your breakfast is VIP viewing of the parade! At various points throughout the park, the characters can be seen and interacted with before the parade begins. The parade itself is a real party, complete with dance music and all the characters boogying down, inviting the audience to get involved! Huge new floats were designed to show off the best new Superstars that Universal has to offer in what looks to be a fun new approach to summer meet and greets. Parades are a great time to catch your breath and be entertained. Don’t forget to take great photos of yourself and your family with your favorite universal cartoon characters!
