Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo are located on the 5th and 6th floors of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge main building, called the Jambo House. There is also Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village.

The By far one of the most unique resorts at Disney, not to mention most of Florida, the resort itself is inspired by African architecture and themes, and uses the kraal African-village design- a semi-circle that allows for a better view. The resort is also decorated with authentic African artifacts and indigenous plant life. But most amazing at all, and what makes the resort so popular, is that just beyond its lobby and just outside many of the guest rooms, animals roam free. Designed to look like the African savanna, guests can watch more than 30 species of animals.

There are two award winning restaurants at the resort, the Jiko- The Cooking place and Boma- Flavors of Africa restaurants. Jiko is a bit pricier, with meals starting at $36. The Boma restaurant is buffet-style. There is also Mara, a quick service restaurant, as well as two lounges- the Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar and the Victoria Falls Lounge. Guests can take a guided tour of the savanna, or swim in the Samawati Springs Pool, which has a 128-foot slide and two hot tubs, or the Uzima pool, which is 11,000 square feet and features a 67 foot long slide and two hot tubs. There is also a wading pool, a 24-hour arcade, and a playground.
