 Disney’s Beach Club Resort is based on the
charming style of New England. The buildings are
painted pale blue and white and were designed by
renowned architect Robert A. M. Stern. The basis
comes from wooden ocean cottages from the 1860’s
and 1870’s and have white wicker and Spanish
limestone accents (the furniture and floors), as
well as 24 foot high ceilings. Once outside,
guests can enjoy all the activities of Crescent
Lake and Stormalong Bay, as well as more than 3
pools, 7 spas, an arcade, and more. Disney’s
Beach Club Resort also offers a health club and
a steakhouse. The resort is located on Disney's
Boardwalk, so there is always access to
restaurants, recreation, and more.
Disney's Beach Club Resort offers a white sand
beach at the edge of the lake, a Lafferty Place
Arcade located in the Yacht & beach Club common
area,
watercraft rentals, specialty cruises, and
the Stormalong Bay beachside water park, which
features a lazy river, a shipwreck, one of the
highest hotel waterslides at the Disney World
Resort, and a Guppy Bay Kiddie Pool.
Each standard room offers either 2 queen beds, 2
double beds, 2 queen beds and a day bed, 1 king
bed, OR 1 king and one day bed. The rooms also
have a private balcony, a refrigerator, a
microwave upon request, internet, and satellite
tv.
