Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa was designed after Victorian-style hotels of days gone by. Its architecture and décor feature wicker rocking chairs, ceiling fans, large verandas, and gabled red roofs. The lobby is over five stories tall, with two beautiful chandeliers, a white exterior, and stained-glass domes. The resort is directly on the monorail path, and its monorail stop was designed to look like a Victorian train station. The resort also features an aviary, a grand piano, palm trees, and an open-cage elevator that goes to the second floor. The resort offers guests entertainment, Victorian style accommodations with the luxury of modern conveniences, world-class dining, and magnificent views of Disney’s Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle and fireworks, the wedding pavilion, the Seven Seas Lagoon, and more.

The resort offers two pools- the clear Beach Pool, with a zero depth entry, waterfalls, a Jacuzzi, and a waterslide, and the courtyard pool, which also has a kiddie pool. There is an arcade located at Gasparilla’s Grill & Games, which offers quick service dining as well and is open 24 hours. Just outside the resort is the white sandy beach at the edge of the Seven Seas Lagoon, which is the location of the Electric Water Pageant. Every night (weather permitting) a trail of brightly-lit barges emerges, ‘dancing’ to the music. As the name suggests, there is also a Spa on the premises, as well as a health club (no extra charge to hotel guests), 6 different restaurants, and more.

A standard room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa offers two queen or one king bed, a day room and private balcony in most rooms, 24-hour room service, satellite TV, newspaper delivery, a table and two chairs, a vanity area with two sinks, a coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave (upon request), high-speed internet access for a fee, a safe, robes, and laundry facilities. A deluxe room offers the same amenities, but comes with two queen beds. The Deluxe King rooms come with a king bed and all the same amenities as the deluxe rooms. A Club Level room comes with Club benefits, including personalized front desk and concierge service, evening turndown service with chocolates, and other services, such as secure key access to the Club Level lounge including continental breakfast, snacks, and more.

The One Bedroom Club Level Suite offers a bedroom with two queen beds or one king bed, a parlor with a queen sleeper sofa, two baths, two private balconies, satellite TV, DVD or DVD/VCR player, complimentary internet in select suites, a safe, robes, laundry facilities, coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave, and Club benefits, including personalized front desk and concierge service, evening turndown service with chocolates, and other services, such as secure key access to the Club Level lounge including continental breakfast, snacks, and more. The Victorian Suite offers the same amenities and is also Club Level.

The Club Level Two Bedroom Suite comes with a master bedroom with a king bed, a second bedroom with two queen beds, a parlor with a queen sleeper sofa, three baths, two private balconies, satellite TV, DVD or DVD/VCR player, newspaper delivery, a conference table and chairs, coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave (upon request), complimentary internet access, a safe, robes, and Club benefits, including personalized front desk and concierge service, evening turndown service with chocolates, and other services, such as secure key access to the Club Level lounge including continental breakfast, snacks, and more. The Two-Bedroom Club Level Suite in the outer building also offers a private lanai and a mini-kitchen with sink in addition to the other amenities described. The Two Bedroom Grand Suite also offers beautiful views of the Magic Kingdom park, as well as a panoramic view of the Resort.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel and Spa offers complimentary transportation to all Disney areas, including all four theme parks and other areas such as Downtown Disney.
