 Disney’s Polynesian Resort is by far one of the most
beautiful resorts in the Disney World area. A
lush island paradise, it overlooks the Seven
Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom, and was one of
the two original Disney World resorts opened in
1971. The lobby area is three stories high, with
restaurants and shopping as well as a monorail
station on the second floor. It features a
waterfall, with a koi pond just outside the
front entrance. The entire resort is decorated
with tropical flowers, tropical landscaping,
tiki statues, totem poles, and more.
The resort has the Nanea Volcano Pool, which features a
volcano that’s 40 feet high, a waterfall,
waterslide, and more. The lake offers
waterskiing, parasailing, and of course, the
Electrical Water Pageant held nightly on the
waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
 The standard rooms offer two queen beds, one day bed, a
small table and chair, high speed internet
access (additional fee), cable TV, in-room safe,

available, which have the same amenities but

Disney’s Polynesian Resort offers transportation to all
Disney areas, including all four theme parks and
Downtown Disney. Guests can use the buses,
