Disney’s Wilderness Lodge was designed after the Great American
Northwest National Park lodges from the 20th
century. It has wildlife and nature inside and
outside, and features genuine artifacts from
ancient Native American cultures and early
American explorers. The resort has a 7-story
lobby, built from Lodgepole Pine, and a
fireplace that measures over 80 feet tall.
There’s a spring that empties into one of two
pools, the Fire Rock Geyser that shoots water
120 feet in the air, and a sandy beach, as well
as restaurants, a health club, a Chip ‘n Dale’s
Campfire Sing-a-Long, and more.

The resort has the Buttons & Bells Arcade, the Silver Creek Springs
pool with water slide and hot tub, and the
Hidden Springs pool, also with a hot tub. The
Trout Pass pool bar offers quick snacks and
small meals, as well as drinks and coffee. There
is also a fitness center called the Sturdy
Branches Health Club. It features state of the
art fitness equipment, lockets, and a sauna. The
fitness center is free for guests 14 and older,
though guests must be 18 to go without a parent
or guardian present.
