 Disney’s Yacht Club Resort was designed by architect Robert
A. M. Stern to look and feel like a New England
yacht club. It shares many amenities with
Disney’s Beach Club Resort next door. The Yacht
Club Resort is decorated with dark wood and
wicker furniture, captain’s wheels, and
portholes, and staff members are dressed like
the crew of a ship.
The resort is located directly on
Disney’s Boardwalk, which has restaurants and
other dining options, shops, recreation, and
more- and is just a short walk away to Disney’s
Epcot theme park. The resort offers sandy white
beaches, watercraft rentals, three pools- two
located in Disney’s Beach Club Resort- and the
Ship Shape Health Club with spa. Guests are also
welcome to Stormalong Bay, a water recreation
area. Basically a miniature water park, it
features a lazy river, heated and cold pools,
and a waterslide.
Standard rooms at Disney’s Yacht Club
Resort offer one queen bed and a day bed OR two
queen beds OR two queen beds and a day bed OR
one king bed OR one king bed and a day bed. They
also have a balcony or patio, a table with
chairs, satellite TV, internet access (for a
fee), a coffeemaker, microwave (on request),
newspaper delivery, and a safe. The Club Level
standard rooms also offer Club benefits,
