Benefits of staying at
a Disney resort.
If your vacation is all
about Disney's 4 theme parks, 2 water parks and other
Disney attractions, then staying inside Disney is the
best choice!
Although there are no
hotels inside the actual theme parks, some of them are
very close to them and in fact, are grouped near each of
the 4 major Disney Parks (i.e. Epcot's Resort Area,
etc). All the hotels are accessible via Disney
Bus, and a few, like the Contemporary Resort, The
Polynesian Resort and The Grand Floridian are connected
to Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center via Disney's famous
monorail.
The Disney hotels are ideal for a "Total Disney
Experience" and there are some additional benefits
if you stay inside Disney:
Extra Magic Hours: Each day, one of Disney’s
magical theme parks opens one hour early exclusively for
resort guests, or stays open up to three hours later.
Simply show your Disney Resort ID with your regular
admission ticket and you're there.
Magical Express: If you're flying into the
Orlando Airport, you can use Disney's Magical Express
option. A Deluxe motor coach transports you to and from
the airport to your Disney resort at no charge.
Convenient Transportation at No Extra Charge: Motor
coaches, monorails and watercraft transport you from any
Disney resort to and from Disney theme parks, water
parks and Downtown Disney.
Dining Plan: Guests selecting accommodations at a
Disney-owned and – operated resort hotel can book a
hotel, tickets and dining package, which includes two
meals per day and a snack per person, per package night
at more than 100 select restaurants across
the Vacation Kingdom.
Charging to Room/Package Delivery: When staying
at a Disney Resort, you can use your Resort ID to charge
your purchases to your room. You may also opt to have
your purchases shipped to your resort.
These are the most
important advantages, and except transportation within
Disney, are not accessible to anyone not staying at a
Disney Hotel.
