Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

This park is themed after 19th-century Africa. It opened on March 31, 1959, and encompasses 335 acres. It was originally a free area where visitors could watch animal acts and go into a beer garden to drink free Busch beer by a manufacturing plant. The plant closed down and the park stayed, slowly morphing into its current state.
