Disney Dining Plan

If you are staying at a Disney resort, then you might want to look into purchasing the Magic Your Way Dining Plan. You must buy at least a one day-one park base ticket, and the plan must be for the entire time you will be staying at the resort– for example, if you’re staying for three days, then the dining plan will be for three days. And you have to add the plan when you make your reservation– if you decide you want to have the dining plan after you’ve made your reservation, then you can call in up to three days before your stay, cancel the reservation, and make a new one that includes the plan.

The package must be made for every person, and includes:

Table Service Meal
This means one entrée, one dessert if lunch or dinner, one juice if breakfast and one single-serving non-alcoholic beverage, or one full buffet. Children ages 3-9 have to order from a children’s menu if one is available.

Quick Service Meal
This is one entrée or complete Combo Meal, one dessert if lunch or dinner, one juice if breakfast, and one single-serving non-alcoholic beverage. Children ages 3-9 must order from the children's menu- if available- at quick-service restaurants.

Snack
This can be one: frozen ice cream novelty, fruit bar, popsicle, popcorn scoop, chips, piece of fruit, bottle of soda or water, medium fountain drink, coffee, hot chocolate, or hot tea.

The dining plan can be used at over 100 places in the parks and even Downtown Disney. They do not include gratuity.

For some of the nicer restaurants, dinner shows, and character dining, each person must use up two meal tickets. You can use up all of the meal tickets, but any unused tickets will not be refunded.

Two people can share one meal ticket at most places, except buffets. Children under 3 are not eligible for the plan.

For restaurants requiring reservations, make sure to call well in advance, since it can be difficult to get into a popular restaurant last-minute. You can call up to 180 days in advance.
