Transportation
You likely have an idea now of what there is to see and
do in Orlando– but how do you get there?
The most common form of transportation used by visitors
is car rentals and taxis. There are many different
companies that offer this in Orlando, all just a Google
search or 411 call away.
The public transportation system is a series of buses
called the Lynx buses. The site can be found on
golynx.com, along with fare, maps, and bus routes.
Please note that the time needed to go to and from the
theme parks using public transportation may take a very
long time.
Many
hotels provide free theme park transportation, or can
help arrange it. There is a trolley system that services
I-Drive as well. Check on the hotel details on
our Orlando Hotels page.
If you are flying to
Orlando and do not want to depend on the scheduled hotel
transportation then a rental car is always a good idea;
Florida rates are about the cheapest in the country and
our packages with car rental are a 100% Best Package
Price Guarantee.
Please note that if
you're staying at a Disney resort, THEY will
provide free transportation to and from the Orlando
International Airport as well as continuous
transportation to and from their theme parks only. One
of the parks of staying at a Disney Resort.
