interested in planning a discounted Orlando vacation for you and
your family, we're the people to help you do it. The Orlando
Vacation Store is dedicated to helping people just like you save
money when it comes to planning a fun-filled vacation to one of
the many theme parks or other attractions in the Orlando area.
Here is a comprehensive list of the hotels featured on our
website. Any one of these hotels will make a wonderful choice
when you're looking for accommodations for your next trip.
These hotels are separated by areas, so read on to find out
which is the best area for you.
Why these hotels
and not others?
We hand-pick the best hotels in Orlando according to quality,
location and features (most of our hotels offer free breakfast
and/or transportation to all the major theme parks, for greater
savings and convenience); then we negotiate the best wholesaler
rate. The result? A comprehensive list of cheap hotels near the
theme parks.
Our hotel rates are so discounted that, by contract, we can not
disclose them to the public; we can only sell them combined
with theme park tickets and/or other services. Take advantage of
our cheap hotels prizes and book today!
Orlando Main Tourist Areas
Just as
important as what to do on vacation is where to stay. The ideal
hotel is in a nicer area of town, close to shops and your chosen
attractions, and easy to get to. There are five popular areas in
Orlando. They are full of shops, restaurants, things to do, and
places to stay. There are plenty of hotels that we work with
within those areas; popular hotels with extremely good service
and great locations.
Onsite Disney
Although there is not such things as hotel inside the Disney
Parks, these Disney owned hotels are located on Disney's
property and feature continuous transportation to the parks. For
more information and a list of perks when you stay inside
Disney, go to our Disney
Hotels page.
Disney's Maingate
The Maingate area is situated in the southern part of Disney,
outside Disney's property. Very many hotels are located on Hwy
192 and its vicinity. This area is very close to Disney's
Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Disney's water parks.
Hint: If you plan to also go to any of Universal Studios
theme parks, this area is in the exact opposite part of town; it
would be preferable to choose a hotel from the Lake Buena Vista
area.
Disney's Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney
 |
Located in the north-eastern part of Disney, the Lake Buena
Vista area is very close to Downtown Disney shops, entertainment
and area restaurants. Premium Outlet Mall is also in this area,
as well as many hotels. Lake Buena Vista is actually two
separate areas within the same name; one side is owned by Disney
where non-Disney hotels reside; these hotels offer continuous
transportation to the Disney parks (Best
Western Lake Buena Vista,
Wyndham Resort onsite LBV).
Next to them (some literally across the street from Disney's
entrance) there are some hotels that have no relationship with
Disney but offers great convenience and location at lower
prices. |
Hint: If you plan to also go to SeaWorld or any of
Universal Studios theme parks, this area is somewhat close by
using the Palm Parkway; this road connects with Central Florida
Pkwy that takes you to SeaWorld (about 5 minutes) and to Turkey
Lake road, which passes right behind Universal Studios "back
gate", about 15 minute drive; it's a shortcut that really pays
off, since it will take you double the time (not counting
traffic jams) to get there using highways.
Sea World and International Drive Area
The Sea World area contains the Sea World, Discovery Cove, and
Aquatica parks, as well as the Orlando Convention and Business
Center. Further north is the International Drive area; there are
many restaurants, shopping and night entertainment, and is
conveniently located between SeaWorld and Universal Studios.
Hint: If you want to do something not related to the
parks at night, this is the area you want to be; there are
plenty of restaurants, clubs, shops, movie theaters (look for
the Pointe Orlando Shopping mall), etc.
This area is so alive at night that during weekends and high
season you can get pretty much stuck in traffic jams.
International Drive Area
This area is north of The Convention Center and South of
Universal Studios. There is a great concentration of hotels,
restaurants and shops and could be a good place to be if you do
not have a car and depend on the hotel's transportation.
Universal Studios Area
Just north of International Drive, the Universal area contains
Universal Studios and Universal's Islands of Adventure® theme
parks, Wet & Wild, and Universal CityWalk®, with its many
restaurants and night clubs, as well as the Hard Rock Cafe© and
Concert venues.
Hint: If you do not have too much time or are thinking
about visiting only Universal Studios, this is the best area to
go; the hotels are nearby (some across the street from Universal
Studios, so you're very close without paying to stay on
property); Universal CityWalk® offers all the restaurants, bars
and live music, movie theaters, etc. you may want. Because you
need to go through Universal CityWalk® to enter the parks, it
makes sense to stay nearby; that way you can enjoy Universal CityWalk® on your way out and the trip back to the hotel won't
take long (or a cab, readily available, won't cost much).
