Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid gets 5/5 Stars!

“There were thingamabobs everywhere! To keep things interesting, there are holograms of little crabs that interact with the audience all throughout the cue.

All these little things made the line much easier to wait through and adults seemed to love it as much as the kids did…The Kiss the girl scene looks like it came straight out of the film. The animatronics are carefully placed and they even have subtle movements like blinking, eyes shifting and moving their hands slightly.

This was by far my favorite part of the ride. There are glowing fireflies, kissing frogs, and the water really comes to life!”

Unlike many other attractions in Orlando that feature fake ice or pretend snow, the Gaylord Palms has the real thing.

The exhibit is an 18,000-square-foot Winter Wonderland. That is kept at a cool 9 degrees Fahrenheit. This Orlando Attraction is one of a kind!

“There is impressive architecture outside, including gargoyles and very imposing statues at the door to the palace. Every detail is dark and mysterious, yet still royal and elegant. It is extremely accurate to the film…

The ceiling is painted like the one in the ballroom of the film and there are two grand chandeliers that hang delicately over the seating area”.

Insider Tip: The New Fantasyland Expansion is sure to be crowded following its official opening. These rides also have fast pass locations that are sometimes out of view. Ask a cast member about where you can pick up your passes so you can skip the line!
