Universal
Studios – Summer
Concert Series
Love music?
Parties? Free
Concerts?
Then
Universal
Studios Orlando is the
place to be this
summer!
Universal
Studios knows
Music. The
largest Hard
Rock Café in the
world and its
adjacent concert
hall are here,
just outside the
turnstiles. Next
to that is the
Rip Ride Rocket,
a thunderous
rollercoaster
that lets you
pick the
soundtrack and
blast your
favorite music
as you soar
through (and
even out of) the
park. The line
and exit to the
coaster is right
up against the
huge stage that
hosts the Summer
Concert series,
an event which
allows you to
see major
musical stars
INCLUDED IN THE
PRICE OF YOUR
TICKET!

Universal
Studios opens
Despicable Me
Ride
The Despicable
Me ride at
Universal
Studios Orlando
is OPEN! That’s
right, I said,
“RIDE”. As if
the movie wasn’t
amazing enough!
Featuring an
amazing line
queue (the
entertainment
portion before a
group of people
gets to the
ride). It really
makes you feel
like you have
stepped into the
world of
animation and
right into Gru’s
home, complete
with all the
super-villain
fixings. The
ride is in “Soft
openings” which
means it is in a
phase much like
a dress
rehearsal, it is
open to guests
but the team may
still be working
out small
problems here
and there. It
may also be open
only during
specific times
each day, so
when you see
that it’s open,
take advantage
of the
opportunity! So
far, it has been
very well
received by the
public and is
sure to be one
of the most
popular rides
this summer!

information,

Despicable Me
ride blog

Beat the
Heat in Orlando
with a Theme
Park Survival
Kit
While it is
typically nice
for adults and
couples
vacationing solo
to travel light,
families,
especially those
with children,
can benefit from
a summer
survival kit.
The goal of any
survival kit is
to bring the
essentials, and
when enjoying an
Orlando
theme park, it
may be difficult
to know just
what those
essentials are.
Theme parks will
offer many of
the items
listed, so if
you forget some,
do not panic!
Just know that
putting a kit
together ahead
of time will
save time and
money. Theme
parks offer free
or nearly- free
lockers for when
you are on a
ride, which for
a small fee you
can keep for
longer periods,
so it is really
not a hassle to
bring a
money-saving
kit.
