The Wizarding
World of Harry
Potter
If
you haven’t
visited The
Wizarding World
of Harry Potter
at Universal
Orlando, you’re
missing out on
one of the most
breathtaking
attractions ever
created. The
Wizarding World
of Harry Potter
opened last June
in Islands of
Adventure, one
of Universal
Orlando’s two
theme parks.
There is a
common
misconception
that it is its
own theme park,
but it is
actually its own
separate land
inside of a
theme park.
Don’t let that
fool you, one
you enter the
area, you
completely
forget you’re in
Orlando, let
alone a theme
park.
The magic of
Harry Potter
truly comes to
life here and it
will amaze any
Harry Potter
fan. You can sip
Butterbeer (safe
for kids) in the
Three
Broomsticks,
enjoy chocolate
frogs from
Honeydukes, and
even explore the
halls of
Hogwarts here.
The Wizarding
World of Harry
Potter isn’t
just for fans of
Harry Potter;
the area is just
as fun and
spectacular for
anyone, even
those who know
nothing about
the books or
movies.
Universal
Orlando
celebrated the
one-year
anniversary of
the opening of
The Wizarding
World of Harry
Potter by
opening the
gates at the
exact time as
they did on
opening day and
wizards lined
the streets of
Hogsmead as
guests entered
under falling
streamers. This
area of Islands
of Adventure
does still get
busy during peak
visiting times
of the year, but
crowds are not
as insane as
they were a year
ago. If you were
avoiding the
crowds by
delaying your
visit, it’s safe
to visit now.
The parks may
still get busy
during times of
the year, but
they are less
than the
craziness that
happened when
the land first
opened.
The
Wizarding World
of Harry Potter
is included on
the regular
admission ticket
to Universal's
Islands of
Adventure. Call toll
free 1 - 866 -
882.4720 to
speak with a
Universal
Orlando Vacation
Specialist. |

Legoland Florida
Opens in One
Month
In just over a
month on October
15, 2011,
Legoland Florida
will open as the
Orlando area’s
newest theme
park. This
entire theme
park is themed
around Legos and
will have over
50 rides, shows
and attractions
for families to
enjoy. Rides
range from
family-friendly
rides to
coasters that

kids will enjoy.
You can even
take a Factory
Tour and see hoe
Lego bricks are
made. Are you a
fan of models?
Miniland USA
inside of the

of the USA such
as Florida,

even areas of
the park where
kids of all ages
can build their
own Lego models
and cars.
Legoland will be
opening in
Winter Haven,
which is just
about 45 minutes
from Orlando
theme parks. Not
renting a car
while you’re in
Orlando?

provides trips
to and from
Legoland and
picks guests up
at Orlando
Premium Outlets
– Vineland
Avenue, one of
the popular
Disney area
outlet malls.
Tickets and
transportation
can all be
arranged
together for
