Magic Kingdom Celebrates 40th Anniversary

On October 1st, the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World celebrated 40 magical years of creating memories for families from all over the world. This year, Walt Disney World celebrated this special anniversary with a special show in front of the castle, special 360 degree fireworks all around the park, and exclusive 40th anniversary merchandise.

We made it out on October 1st for the celebration and received free 40th anniversary buttons and commemorative vintage maps. Disney vacations are a dream come true for many families, and for most, it’s not a true Disney vacation until you see Cinderella’s castle at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom. Congratulations to Walt Disney World for 40 amazing years, and to our wonderful customers, we look forward to many years of helping you celebrate the magic on your own Orlando vacation.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Begins Soon!

The most wonderful time of year is coming sooner than you think. The holiday season at Walt Disney World is a magical time to visit and Disney celebrates the holiday season with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This event is held for multiple nights every November and December and celebrates the holiday season like only Walt Disney World can.

At Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World in Orlando comes to life in a magical winterland setting. There is a special holiday parade, exclusive holiday fireworks display, special character meet-and-greets and free cookies and hot cocoa all night long. This event is held after park hours from 7 pm to 12 midnight and requires a separate ticket for admission, but it’s an affordable, wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit with Mickey.

Since the party takes place for many nights in November and December, there are plenty of chances to attend. The official dates for this year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are:

Tuesday, November 8
Wednesday, November 9
Friday, November 11
Sunday, November 13

Disney Dining Plan; “How much money can I save?”

In response to the announcement in our newsletter about the Free Disney dining offer, many of you asked, “this Free Disney Dining plan sounds great, but how much does this deal really save me?” So, we’re here to answer your questions and help you figure out just how much money this deal will save you on your Disney vacation. With this deal, when you book a reservation with a check-in on one of the valid dates at a Disney resort hotel, you can get 2 meals and 1 or 2 snacks for each night of your stay. This deal is valid for most stays up to 14 nights, imagine not paying for your meals that entire time!

There are two types of Disney dining plans offered for free with this offer, depending on what category of Disney hotel you book your package at. If you stay at one of the Disney Value resorts you can get a free Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan for your entire family during your stay. Staying at a Disney Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa hotel? Then you qualify for a free Disney Dining Plan for your stay.

I’m sure you’re wondering, what’s the difference between the two plans? Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan gives you 2 quick-service meals per each night of your stay. Quick-service meals are fast, grab-and-go meals that you order at a food counter and then can sit to eat. It’s self-service dining, much like you would find at a fast-food restaurant with burgers, hot dogs, pizza and fries. Only at Disney, these meals average around $10-$15 per person, that’s about $40-$60 for one meal for a family of four.

The Disney Dining Plan gives you 1 quick-service meal like the one described above and 1 table-service meal per night of your stay. The table-service meal is a sit-down meal at a full service restaurant where you are seated and a server takes your order and brings your food to you so you can relax with your family. On the Disney Dining Plan, these table-service meals include an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and drink. If you pay for this meal yourself, this can cost anywhere from $30-$60 per person, costing $120-$240 for one meal for family of four. This latest Magic Your Way vacation package offer with a Free Disney dining plan can save you a lot of money when the cheapest meals at Disney cost a minimum $40 for your family, but you get them for free.

Let’s take John and Ann for example. They’re staying at Pop Century, one of Disney’s Value resorts, with their two children for 4 nights/5 days in October. Because they booked the Magic Your Way vacation package with FREE Disney dining, each person get 2 free quick-service meals and 2 snacks for each night, meaning a total of 8 free meals and 8 free snacks per person. Quick-service meals at Disney usually cost about $10 per person and snacks cost about $4. For one person, this would cost about $28 per day (2 quick-service meals and 2 snacks). For John and Ann’s family of 4, the Free Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan saves them $112 per night, for a total savings of at least $448 for a 4 night stay!

Now let’s look at Carlos and Maria’s family. They’re staying at Coronado Springs, one of Disney’s Moderate resorts, with their two children. Like John and Ann, they’re staying for 4 nights/5days in October. However, because they booked the Magic Your Way vacation package with FREE Disney dining at a Disney Moderate resort, each person gets 1 quick-service meal, 1 table-service meal, and 1 snack for each night, meaning a total of 4 free quick-service meals, 4 free table-service meals, and 4 free snacks per person. Quick-service meals cost about $10 per person, table-service meals with everything included except tip cost about $40 per adult (children prices might be slightly lower) and snacks cost about $4. This is a total of about $216 per night for the family of four. For Carlos and Maria’s family of four, they get these meals for free, which gives them a total savings of about $864 for all 4 nights!

Room rate discounts cannot be combined with this offer, so the total savings amount may differ if you qualify for room discounts. However, the Free Disney dining plan offer saves most families hundreds of dollars on their Disney vacation.

This limited time offer is only available by phone by calling one of our Disney Specialists toll-free at 1-866-882-4720 . Don’t miss out on this limited time offer, Save a Bundle and Book Now for Disney Vacation Savings.
