SeaWorld Theme Park Tickets

For many families who want to do something different in Orlando, SeaWorld is a fun alternative to the better known attractions in Orlando. Although often overlooked in the past, SeaWorld is no longer a theme park living in the shadow of Disney and Universal. It has recently regained its former popularity, bringing the magic of the seas to every guest's vacation. Also included in the SeaWorld family is the now-famous, revolutionary Aquatica water park. The other related parks are Busch Gardens, the Africa-themed park in Tampa, and Discovery Cove, the reservation-only water park that offers swimming with the dolphins.

SeaWorld is famous for the killer whale Shamu as well as for various rides, animal exhibits, and live shows individually featuring seal, dolphins, and other whales. Shamu Stadium features killer whale performances, and there’s the Sea Lion and Otter Stadium, the Whale and Dolphin Stadium, and many others. For more excitement, the Kraken is a floorless roller coaster; you could also choose to ride the Journey to Atlantis boat ride and roller coaster. It's an exciting, enticing underwater world with more than enough to see and do. SeaWorld offers a variety of ticket options, all of which can be used to gain admission the to Aquatica and Busch Gardens parks to save you a little trouble on your vacation.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is a small journey from the Orlando parks, though there are shuttles in many hotels that will take guests there if they don't have a car or are unable to drive the distance. The park has an African savanna theme, with many wild animal exhibits, such as giraffe and rhinoceros. There are also plenty of exciting rides, including roller coasters and safaris. It's the perfect counter park to SeaWorld’s seas and oceans.

Aquatica is the newest water park in Orlando, but don't let that fool you. After only a few short years of being open, it has steadily grown to be a local and tourist favorite, featuring new pioneering designs in wave pools and water slides, as well as improvements on older water park rides. Its most popular feature is its signature ride, the clear slide, "Dolphin Plunge," that takes visitors through a Commerson's Dolphins habitat. These are small dolphins that look like small killer whales; a tribute to parent park SeaWorld. The park also features a lazy river ride with colorful flora and grottos, as well as a rapids ride with geysers and center islands.
